Hunt With Python Cowboy
Let's Sic The Dogs On Some Hogs
Join us for a wild hog hunt and experience old Florida like you never have before. We have a hands-on approach to our hog hunts, running our highly trained team of hog dogs and getting up close and personal with some big boars. When the dogs pick up a scent, the hunt is on! We track hogs through thick, swampy terrain until we corner a keeper. Trust us when we say, this is a hunt you'll never forget.

The Best Tool For The Job
Meet Florida's Finest Hog Hunting Dogs
Our pack of highly-trained hog dogs are an incredible team. Each of them has their own unique personalities, and each dog brings their special skill set. They really are the stars of the show and we couldn't hunt these wild Florida hogs without them.
Moose
My first python dog was Moose, my lead hog dog, and he did a phenomenal job. He blew me away by finding snakes but he never really enjoyed it as much as ol’ Otto has. He prefers to spend his time hunting hogs.
Mouse
Florida Black Mouth Kerr
Mouse is our up-and-coming hog dog superstar. She was already leading hog hunts for us at only a year old. She's a great listener, a little goofy, and kind of an idiot, but I can totally see her leading the pack one day.
Rooster & Rowdy
Florida Kerr / Rhodesian Ridgeback
A brother and sister duo, Rooster and Rowdy are two of our most loyal dogs. They were both rescues that were going to be put down. We took them in as puppies, trained em, and gave them a job. Today, they're absolutely thriving catching hogs.
Nip
Leopard Kerr Dog
One of my three original working hog dogs, Nip is one of the craziest dogs I have. It doesn't matter how big the hog is, ol' Nip is on em. He's gung-ho and gritty. He is the perfect example of what a hog dog should be—hard-working and loyal.
Trouble
German Wire Hair Pointer
Trouble is Fenix's sister and an upcoming hog hunting and python hunting dog. She lives up to her name, is super driven, and almost a little too gung-ho. Ali put her through the NAVDA test and Trouble scored perfect—number 1 in every category.

Where We Hunt
Welcome To Old Florida
We hunt on the Seminole Prairie Ranch property. They're great friends and great stewards of Florida wildlife and habitat. Every hunt here is like a safari, with Asian Water Buffalo, Axis Deer, and other exotic animals calling this private 2,000-acre ranch home. Our hunts help control the feral hog population and keep this Old-Florida habitat pristine.
What To Expect
Get In On The Action
It's our goal to leave you with an incredible experience, a hunt you'll never forget, and some quality hog meat for the freezer. These hunts are more than just harvesting animals. Each hog we remove from the wild is helping prevent further damage to our local ecosystems.
Hog Hunting Rates
Our hog hunts can safely accommodate 4-6 hunters. If you have a larger group, we have multiple guides to accommodate.
We provide all the equipment needed. We recommend wearing waterproof boots, pants, a lightweight long-sleeve shirt, a headlamp, and bug spray. Lastly, if you want to bring your hog meat home with you (they're great eating), bring a cooler.
We have a full packing list page for all of our hunts. If you have any specific questions leading up to your hunt, please do not hesitate to contact us.
1-2 guides, trained Bay & catch dogs, and basic skinning and quartering.
No license is required for hog hunts and there are no bag limits.
Usually in the Okeechobee area. We'll coordinate with you leading up to your hunt to let you know the exact locations and times.
Having a safe hunt is our top priority, but there are risk factors involved in every hunt.
Hog hunting with dogs involves trekking through the thick vegetation—it's true, old Florida. You'll be crossing creeks and ditches. The hogs can break away from the dogs and charge you.
We work with hunters of all skill levels to ensure a safe and exciting hunting experience.
We will have a safety briefing before our hunt to walk you through the best hog hunting practices.
You'll have a guide with you the entire hunt.
Yes, we work closely with several taxidermists. Euro mounts are $175 each. All other mounts vary in cost. We will prep and get your hog to the taxidermist.
Yes! And they're delicious. Our guides will have plenty of suggestions on recipes.
Yes! Basic skinning and quartering is included. Fully processed is $150 per hog. Be sure to bring your own cooler(s) to transport them home.
We do not allow guests to bring dogs on our hunts.
You can, but they need to be .243 caliber and need to make sure they are sighted in correctly. An injured hog that is not recovered costs the same as a dead one.
