Hunt With Python Cowboy
Join Us For A Python Hunt In The Florida Everglades
Hop on the bow of the boat with our team of professional hunting guides and python dogs, hunting invasive pythons on islands in the Everglades. We put our decades of hunting and conservation experience to work to locate and capture snakes in an ethical way. These hunts aren't for the faint of heart, but we provide a safe and fun experience. Trust us when we say that this is truly the hunt of a lifetime and one that you won't soon forget.

The Best Tool For The Job
Meet The First-Ever Python Hunting Dogs
We’re very proud to say that we have a team of professional snake-hunting dogs to track and capture pythons in the Everglades. These snakes are hard to find and make their nests even harder to find. Our dog’s ability to track these reptiles by scent and locate nests has changed the game. Together we found more python nests than every other python hunter combined last season.
Otto
Otto is the best iguana dog in our pack by far, he absolutely loves it. He's so obsessed with iguanas that he can barely contain his excitement when we hunt! He's really proven to be the key to our success out there and has created a blueprint for our other dogs to follow.
Moose
My first python dog was Moose, my lead hog dog, and he did a phenomenal job. He blew me away by finding snakes but he never really enjoyed it as much as ol’ Otto has. He prefers to spend his time hunting hogs.
Rogue
Rogue is our backup iguana dog. She's just as important as Otto, backing up all the guides on our iguana hunts. She's the lady of the group and is a little more on the careful side, but when she needs to step it up, she absolutely does.
Fenix
Fenix is Sammie's trusted python, iguana, and hog dog. She'll accompany us on the boats and in the glads to retrieve lizards and track pythons. She has a great personality and loves people, but she loves to hunt more than anything.
Trouble
Trouble is Fenix's sister and an upcoming hog hunting and python hunting dog. She lives up to her name, is super driven, and almost a little too gung-ho. Ali put her through the NAVDA test and Trouble scored perfect—number 1 in every category.

Where We Hunt
Welcome To The Glades
The python islands of the Everglades offer some of the hardest hunting available. The thick vegetation and brutal bugs are just the first things you'll need to think about. You've got to watch your back for alligators and watch your step for water moccasins. Hunting these islands is not for the faint of heart and that's where our team of professional python hunting guides comes in.
What To Expect
Get In On The Action
Join us for an evening in the Florida Everglades as we island hop with our expert team of guides and hunting dogs chasing pythons. The dogs help us locate the snakes which are incredibly difficult to find in this terrain. Once they have a python on point, we move the dog and catch them alive, by hand. This allows us to get a more humane shot, as we don't want the snakes to suffer at all.
Hunts With Our Guides
Hunts With Mike
Each boat can safely accommodate 4-6 hunters. If you have a larger group, we have multiple boats/guides to accommodate.
Waterproof boots, pants, and a lightweight long-sleeve shirt. There are a lot of sharp and spikey things in the Everglades.
We have a full packing list page for all of our hunts. If you have any specific questions leading up to your hunt, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Every Python Hunt comes with a guide, a professionally trained python dog, a boat, and all the equipment needed for a successful day in the Everglades.
No license is required for python hunts and there are no bag limits.
We'll meet in the North Ft. Lauderdale area. The exact location will be determined closer to our hunt date as we move around to different boat ramps depending on seasons, scouting, and weather.
Yes, but there are always risk factors with any hunt. You will be in the middle of The Florida Everglades and may come in contact with other species including gators, water moccasins, and spiders.
Having a safe hunt is our top priority! We prioritize weapon safety and boating safety on our python hunts.
We work with hunters of all skill levels to ensure a safe and exciting hunting experience.
We strive to harvest pythons and other invasive species humanely and ethically.
To commemorate your hunt, we make custom leather goods, right here in Florida. We also have connections with several local taxidermists to get mounts of heads, skins, and more.
Yes, but they are known to have a "chewy" texture and potentially contain higher levels of mercury.
We process the pythons for custom leather products, but not for consumption.
We do not allow guests to bring dogs on our hunts.
